Karen Heale

Roles and responsibilities:

Karen qualified from University College London in 1989. Karen has trained in the Paedodontic, Orthodontic and Oral Surgery, Departments of Eastman Dental Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, The London & St Mary Hospitals. She worked in General Practice in Chingford before joining us at Angle House.

Reena Raithatha

SPECIALIST ORTHODONTIST

Roles and responsibilities:

Reena graduated with Honours from the University of Manchester in 2010. As well as attaining a distinction in the final examinations, she was also awarded the Charles Preston Prize and medal, given to the most outstanding dentist to qualify that year.

She continued her training in London working as a senior house officer at Guys Hospital in Paediatric dentistry and Oral surgery. During this time she also completed her MJDF qualification at the Royal college of surgeons london. She gained further invaluable experience working as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham.

In 2013 she carried out her specialist training in Orthodontics at Kings College Hospital. On completion, she graduated with a merit in her Masters of Science degree and was awarded a Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Reena has also presented her Masters research at the British Orthodontic conference and subsequently published it in the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She is an active member of the British Orthodontic Society and is a certified practitioner in Invisalign and Lingual orthodontics.

Her kind and polite nature make her an excellent clinician, not only technically, but her extremely caring demeanour will put any nervous patient at ease.

Hobbies:

Her interests outside of work include yoga and keeping fit. She also has a keen interest.

Pamela Thakral

Roles and responsibilities:

Pam graduated from King’s College Hospital London and then worked as a Registrar in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. During this time, she gained her Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons. She then returned to King’s to achieve a Master of Science degree and Membership in Orthodontics. She has been working with the Angle House group since 1997 and her main clinical interests and Children’s orthodontic needs.

Hobbies:

Baking with my children and theatre and cinema.

Alex Redhead

Roles and responsibilities:

Since qualifying he has gained wide experience in all aspects of dentistry including Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Children’s and Restorative Dentistry and General Practice. He is committed to providing comfortable, aesthetic, high quality orthodontic treatment for all age groups of patients and has a special interest in Temporomandibular Joint Disfunction and hidden or invisable braces.He enjoys challenging and difficult cases.

Hobbies:

Sailing, Fell walking and Tennis.

Meera Shah

Roles and responsibilities:

Meera enjoys orthodontics and is extremely passionate about her work, with a keen eye for fine detail. She particularly enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team in order to provide the best aesthetic outcome. She can provide treatment using conventional metal, ceramic braces, Invisalign, Damon and Lingual orthodontics as well.

Hobbies:

In her spare time, Meera is busy looking after her three children and she also enjoys reading, art and travelling.

Rupal Patel (Amin)

Worked as a dentist in general practice till 1995, then joined Angle House. Since then I have limited my interest in orthodontics.

Caroline Hall

Ms Caroline Hall graduated in 1987 from Leeds Hospital Dental School. She then held numerous hospital positions in Cambridge, Manchester and London in Maxillofacial Surgery, Children’s and Restorative Dentistry as well as working in General Practice.

She joined Angle House Orthodontics in 1995 and also works as a Clinical Teacher at Guys Dental School.

Hobbies:

Tennis, Pilates, travel abroad, cookery, theatre and films.

Sarah Bartlett

To maintain the practice in line with the practice mission statement and policies. To ensure a welcoming and caring environment for patients, Team members and visitors.

Hobbies:

I enjoy going to local theatres and watching local talent. My daughter is part of a musical drama Academy and I love to get involved and watch the youth productions.
