I am committed to providing high quality orthodontics using a range of techniques for both children and adults including invisible braces such as Invisalign and Incognito. As a teenager, I was a patient of Angle House myself, and it was whilst undergoing treatment I decided I wanted to pursue a career as an orthodontist.

Hobbies:

I’m a mum with two small children who keep me busy! I enjoy keeping fit by swimming, running and playing netball and I love to travel.

Leng Chua

Leng is passionate about improving the lives of her patients through enhancing their smile. Patients of all ages in her care receive personalised attention and benefit from comfortable and effective orthodontic care. She is committed to providing the best quality of treatment to her patients by utilising the latest orthodontic techniques and has extensive knowledge in the use of Invisalign clear aligner therapy.

Leng qualified as a dentist from the National University of Singapore where she was awarded the L C Lien Dental Clinic Gold Medal for being most outstanding student in orthodontics. Thereafter, she went on to pursue her passion for orthodontics and completed a 3-year specialist training programme at the Eastman Dental Hospital, London.

She achieved a distinction in her Master’s Degree in Orthodontics as well as Membership in Orthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons. She has also gained valuable experience during a fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital where she was involved in the management and care of cleft and craniofacial patients.

Hobbies:

Outside of work, she enjoys yoga and exploring the great outdoors.

Helen Moss

Roles and responsibilities:

Helen qualified as a dentist in 2006, taking the opportunity to work in Australia before moving to London to work in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal London Hospital and in Community Special Care Dentistry at Kings College Hospital. Having attained a broad experience in dentistry, including time spent working in New Zealand, Helen went on to specialise in Orthodontics at The Eastman Dental Hospital and Whipps Cross University Hospital during which time she completed her master’s in clinical Dentistry at University College London. Helen’s holistic approach to care and friendly, approachable personality puts patients at ease. As well as specialist practice, Helen continues to work in hospital with more complex multidisciplinary orthodontic cases.

Hobbies:

Before becoming a mum to 2 boys Helen enjoyed portrait painting , visiting art galleries and tai chi. Currently she enjoys ice cream in the park.

Dr. Ahmed Riaz Din

Roles and responsibilities:

Ahmed is a consultant orthodontist who has experience in treating very complex cases including unerupted teeth, post-dental trauma, cleft lip and palate, facial deformity (Orthognathic), patients with congenitally missing teeth (hypodontia), and other complex multidisciplinary cases. He is used to working in a team with multiple specialists to achieve the best for the patient. He offers a range of orthodontics from aligners to fixed braces and has a special interest in TADs (mini-screws).

Hobbies:

Keen CrossFit athlete and loves travelling the world for its foods

Dr. Othman Hameed

About:

Dr Othman Hameed is a consultant orthodontist who also works in specialist practice at Angle House Enfield where he provides a range of orthodontic solutions for his patients.

Othman qualified as a dentist from King’s College London. Following this, he worked at a number of leading hospitals including The Eastman Dental Hospital, The Royal London Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. This culminated in success in his Fellowship examination at The Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Othman developed an interest in orthodontics and therefore decided to undertake further orthodontic speciality training and research. This was performed at both The King’s College Dental Institute and The Royal Surrey County Hospital. Upon the completion of this intensive three-year postgraduate programme, he received a Master’s degree with distinction in Orthodontics from King’s College London as well as Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England enabling him to become a specialist orthodontist.

He followed this with a further two years of higher specialty orthodontic training at The King’s College Dental Institute and St Thomas’ Hospital. Thereby, Othman was appointed as a consultant in orthodontics by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. He currently works as a consultant orthodontist at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

As a consultant orthodontist, he receives referrals from local orthodontic specialists and dentists. Furthermore, he is involved in the teaching and supervision of orthodontic specialists. He contributes to the wider orthodontic community through presentations and scientific publications. For example, Othman has been asked to present by the European Orthodontic Society and he has been published in a number of international journals including the American Journal of Orthodontics. Othman remains passionate about research and is currently a sub-editor for the Journal of Orthodontics which is the official journal of the British Orthodontic Society.

His contributions towards research and clinical investigations have been recognised by many societies. For example, Othman was awarded first prize by the British Orthodontic Society for his research exploring the quality of advertisements in orthodontic journals and the European Federation of Orthodontics recently awarded Othman as the winner of the FEO Best Clinical Paper Award.

Hobbies:

In his spare time Othman plays cricket for Totteridge Millhillians Cricket Club and enjoys watching football. However, he loves nothing more than spending quality time with his family and friends

Raelene Sambrook

Roles and responsibilities:

Raelene is an experienced specialist that provides restorative treatment. She values working in an interdisciplinary team alongside her orthodontic colleagues to optimize smiles. Raelene offers a comprehensive range of prosthodontic treatment including management of tooth wear and dental implants.

Hobbies:

Raelene moved to London in 2018 from Australia. Outside of work, she loves exploring.

Laura McCallum

Laura has worked in Orthodontics since 2002. She graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh as an orthodontic therapist in 2009.

Laura has worked at Angle House Orthodontics since 2012. As an Orthodontic Therapist, she works with a Orthodontist and carries out all aspects of orthodontic treatment including fitting, adjusting and removal of orthodontic appliances.

Hobbies:

Laura’s main interests are keeping fit, being a mother and travel. Her favourite holiday was a visit to Uganda to see wild gorillas.

Afsoon Bahadori

I joined Angle House Orthodontics in 2016 as a Qualified Dental Nurse, I have progressed within the group to Lead Dental Nurse, Treatment Coordinator, Dental Monitoring Lead and moving into Orthodontic Therapist position. My experience over the years has helped me to gain a better understanding of both clinical and non-clinical, this allows me to provide a comfortable and friendly environment for patients as well as the team.
Hobbies:
I love photography, travelling, interior designing, swimming, dancing, working out, and keeping fit. I also like spending time with family and friends.

Nuha Adam

Nuha is an experienced nurse and Treatment Coordinator, she enjoys communicating and interacting with patients.

One of her main responsibility is to guide and educate patients along with providing a high level of service whilst building strong patient relationship.

Nuha aims is to create a relaxed environment and great patient experience, she will remain with the patient throughout the treatment and liaise with Orthodontists and admin team to ensure good communication.

Hobbies:

I enjoy running, traveling abroad, and baking.

Jolea Armstrong

DENTAL NURSE & TERATMENT COORDINATOR

Roles and responsibilities:

Jolea is an experienced Treatment Coordinator, she manages patient’s treatment every step of the way. This may include scheduling appointments; finance and she will remain with the patient throughout the treatment in case they have any problems or questions. Jolea believes that Dental treatment can be daunting for many people, so she feels that having a Treatment Coordinator can create a more relaxed environment and experience. She enjoys seeing the patient progress through their treatment and being a point of contact if they need me help or support.

Hobbies:

Spending time with family & friends, enjoying good food!
