Hygienist Services

A dental hygienist is a specialised healthcare professional with a primary focus on providing thorough and effective dental cleanings to promote optimal oral health. Tasked with the critical responsibility of preventing and managing oral diseases, dental hygienists are integral members of the dental care team.

One of the primary duties of a dental hygienist is performing dental cleanings, also known as prophylaxis. During this procedure, they meticulously remove plaque, tartar, and stains from the surfaces of teeth. Using specialised tools, such as scalers and polishers, they work to eliminate bacterial buildup and prevent the progression of dental issues.

Airflow therapy is a new dental cleaning technology that uses warm water, compressed air, and a bacteria-fighting compound called erythritol.
